William Regal: Bienvenidos a una tercera edición de Rising Sun, hoy tienen lugar los cuartos de final del torneo por el título. Mi objetivo esta noche es revelar una extensión del roster. A partir de Génesis vamos a tener una división Lightweight. Tendrán un título propio, por el que competirán en un torneo con un modelo similar al G1. Daremos más información cuando llegue el momento. La siguiente razón por la que estoy aquí no es otra que informaros de que Willie Mack sufre una lesión en el brazo como consecuencia de las acciones de Minoru Suzuki, y estará tres semanas de baja. Es decir, esperamos su regreso dentro de dos semanas. Eso es todo. Gracias. Que den comienzo los cuartos de final.
Antonio Cesaro vs Tomohiro Ishii

Ishii slips out the back of a Antonio Cesaro bodyslam. Powerslam from Tomohiro Ishii. Pin : 1....2....no! Shoulder up at the last second. Antonio Cesaro ducks a clothesline attempt. Tomohiro Ishii can barely stand. Neutralizer! 1....2....3.

Low Ki vs Tommy Dreamer
Full nelson slam! Side suplex from Dreamer. Side suplex from Dreamer. Hooks the leg : 1....2....shoulder up! That was close. Big clothesline on Low Ki. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues. Low Ki ducks a clothesline attempt. Low Ki hits a dropkick on Tommy Dreamer. Flying cross body off the top rope! Low Ki misses a big legdrop. Low Ki walks into a spike slam. Low Ki can barely stand. Here it comes - Dreamer DDT. 1....2...3, it's finished.

Kazuchika Okada vs Tetsuya Naito
Okada drives a forearm into the chest of Naito. Naito counters an avalanche with a raised foot to the face. Spinning back kick from Tetsuya Naito. The referee goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Tetsuya Naito with an enziguri. Cover, but there's no one to count for Tetsuya Naito. Okada counters a sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker. Naito gets caught with a short powerbomb from Okada. Naito walks into a jaw breaker. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues. Okada DDTs Tetsuya Naito. Pin : 1....2....no! They cut that one close. Naito counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Tetsuya Naito with a running dropkick into the corner. Pin : 1....2....kick out! A split-second away from a three. Tetsuya Naito misses a clothesline. Tetsuya Naito is in trouble. Rainmaker!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!
La cámara nos lleva ahora al backstage donde se ve a Suzuki hablando con alguien que no llegamos a reconocer por el ángulo. De repente Minoru camina hacia el cámara, se enfoca y tira la cámara al suelo.
Minoru Suzuki vs Shinsuke Nakamura
Belly to belly suplex by Suzuki. Gut buster, Nakamura hits hard. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues. Suzuki drops an elbow...but misses. Big backdrop on Suzuki, executed well. Stiff chop lights up Suzuki. Back elbow connects, Suzuki staggers backward. Nakamura only gets knees on a splash. Minoru Suzuki scores with a face jam. Shinsuke Nakamura slams Suzuki, who rolls onto his stomach. What is Minoru Suzuki doing? Shinsuke Nakamura picks him up and signals for a powerbomb. He raises Suzuki up...but then falls backward, getting crushed by his opponent in the process! Minoru Suzuki is on top! 1....2....3! Looking at the replay, it appears that Suzuki had taken a chain out of his tights and wrapped it around his fist! Shinsuke Nakamura must have been punched with that chain while in mid-powerbomb! What a cheap shot! Minoru Suzuki leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle at speed. Suzuki has the victory, and isn't hanging around for Shinsuke Nakamura to look for revenge.
